Privacy

Powder Day is free, has no accounts and shows no ads. This page explains, in plain language, what little data the game uses.

No account, no ads, no tracking cookies

You never sign up or log in. Powder Day shows no ads, sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts, ad networks or social trackers. The game, music and images are all served from ridepowderday.com.

What stays on your device

Your settings, rider and gear choices, key bindings, best scores, race times, ghost runs, medals and challenge progress are saved in your browser's own storage on that device. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data for ridepowderday.com deletes them.

Anonymous usage statistics

On ridepowderday.com we count visits with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that we host ourselves. It uses no cookies and does not identify you. Alongside page views it counts a few game events, such as which mode or course was started or finished, the medal earned, challenges completed, settings changed, trailer plays, guide links opened and whether the feedback form was opened or sent. We use these totals to see what players enjoy and what to improve.

Feedback you choose to send

The Feedback button sends us your message, the feedback type and, only if you fill them in, your name and email. It also includes basic context to help us fix bugs: where you were in the game, your screen size, whether you are on a touch screen, and your browser's user agent. Messages are stored on our server and forwarded to the team so we can read them. Your network address is used briefly to limit spam and is not saved with the message.

Children

Powder Day does not ask for personal information to play. If a child sends feedback with a name or email and you want it removed, contact us through the Feedback button and we will delete it.

Questions

Use the Feedback button on the game's start screen to ask about privacy or to request that a feedback message be deleted. Common game questions are answered in the FAQ.
